This AAT Level 2 and 3 Bookkeeping Course Bundle allows you to complete two qualifications, enabling the potential for quick progression in your bookkeeping career.

Whether you are new to finance or looking to build on your existing bookkeeping skills, this dual qualification provides a fast and effective route to becoming an AAT qualified bookkeeper. Two certificates are completed in this bundle:

The AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping will allow you to understand and develop essential bookkeeping skills. This introduces key accounting topics such as double-entry bookkeeping and the trial balance. You’ll continue to develop these skills further by understanding the banking system, control accounts and how to correct bookkeeping errors. To complete this first certificate, you will need to pass two units:

• Introduction to Bookkeeping (IBTK)
• Principles of Bookkeeping Controls (POBC)

Completion of the two units above will allow you to receive your first certificate in this bookkeeping bundle!

Progressing onto the AAT Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping will develop your knowledge and understanding gained in the L2 certificate. You’ll delve into preparing financial statements and explore topics such as accruals/prepayments, depreciation and end of year adjustments. In addition to this, you will also study core tax principles such as Value Added Tax (VAT) and payroll principles. Completion of this certificate requires you to pass two units:

• Financial Accounting: Preparing Financial Statements (FAPS)
• Tax Processes for Businesses (TPFB)

Once you have passed both the AAT Level 2 and Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping, you will be able to apply for an AAT bookkeeping membership which includes putting the designatory letters AATQB by your name.
